A practical explanation
Cookies & browser storage
The planner can remember your draft specification on your device. We have not added advertising or analytics trackers.
Last updated: 25 October 2026.
Draft items on your device
The project planner uses local storage in your browser to remember the window and door items you are configuring, including their dimensions and selected options. This differs from a cookie: it stays in that browser’s storage rather than being sent with every page request. The draft does not store your name, email, telephone number or other contact form details.
Your draft remains on the device until you remove it or clear the website’s browser data. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to see it. Avoid including personal information in item labels or specification notes.
Removing a draft
Remove each item from the planner’s project list to empty the saved draft, or remove this website’s data through your browser’s privacy or site-settings controls. Clearing browser data does not delete a request you have already submitted to MQ Modern Living.
Submitted requests
Submitting a specification saves the contact details and project information you choose to provide in the hosted database. You receive a private link for the specification. This is separate from the draft stored on your device. See our privacy notice for details or to request deletion.
Essential platform features
The hosting or sign-in platform may use essential cookies or similar technologies for access, authentication and security. Those functions are separate from advertising or visitor profiling. We have not added a third-party analytics service, advertising pixels, embedded maps or social-media tracking widgets to this website.
External websites
Manufacturer documents and the directions link open external services when you choose to follow them. Those services have their own cookies and privacy information.
